Strawberry Lemonade Frappe Recipe

A cool, refreshing, healthy, and delicious Strawberry Lemonade Frappe.Great anytime but especially wonderful on a hot day.
1/2 cup crushed ice (or smallest cubes possible)
1/2 cup lemon juice (fresh or bottled)
2 tablespoons of honey or sweetener of your choice to taste
3/4 cup cold water
Fresh mint leaves
2 whole strawberries
Remove the strawberries from the freezer and let them thaw slightly.
Before placing ice cubes in blender, crush large chunks. This can be done by placing the cubes into a plastic storage bag and sealing it shut. Next, smash the ice lightly and over the cubes with a rolling pin.
Combine lemon juice, strawberries, sweetener of your choice, crushed ice and water in blender jar.
If the blades get stuck, add a little more water.
Blend on high with lid tightly secured until smooth and thick.
The longer you blend, the more runny it will become so if you want it thick, don’t blend as long.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with a strawberry and mint leaf if desired.
