Jello And Marshmallow Desert Recipe

This jello and marshmallow dessert is easy to make and looks very festive impressive.

Ingredients

Jello Layers

4 cups boiling water
4 packages Jello, choose any colors you like
* we show orange, yellow, green and red)
4 envelopes gelatin (each envelope is 1 Tablespoon)

Marshmallow Layers

4 1/2 cups (230g) marshmallows
150 ml fresh milk
300 ml whipping cream
2 tsp of gelatine powder
optional: 2 colors of food coloring (we show pink & yellow)

Directions

Mix 1 package Jello and 1 package gelatin with 1 cup boiling water.

Pour this first layer of prepared Jello into an 8x10 inch glass baking dish. Cool in the refrigerator for 15 minutes or until set.

While you wait, prepare the marshmallow layer.

Put the marshmallows, milk, whip cream and gelatin into a saucepan.

Boil over low heat and stir continuously until gelatine is dissolved.

If you want different colors of marshmallow layers, as this point divide the marshmallow mixture into three bowls and stir in a drop color into 2 of the bowls.

Remove jello from fridge and pour one color of marshmallow mixture onto jello spreading with a spatula, and then place in freezer to harden slightly but not freeze.

Repeat these steps alternating jello and marshmallow mixture for all 4 colors, letting each layer set in the refrigerator as you go.

Keep this treat in the refrigerator.

You can either cut into squares or you can us shaped cookie cutters to cut your pieces.

Optional: Dust with confectioners' sugar.
