Dill Mashed Potatoes Recipe
A Delicious recipe for dill and onion topped mashed potatoes. Serve with gravy.
6 large russet potatoes, peeled, and quartered
1/2 cup milk
3 tbsp butter
1 1/2 teaspoons dried dillweed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 medium onion, diced
In a large pot, cover potatoes with water. Bring to a boil. Boil for 15-20 minutes, or until tender when poked with a fork.
In a medium fry pan, heat 1 tbsp butter and cook onions until browned.
Drain potatoes and mash in a large bowl with 2 tbsp butter, milk and salt.
before serving sprinkle onions and dill on top, or stir to combine.
