Chicken Tomato Pasta Casserole Recipe
A Very tasty chicken tomato pasta casserole recipe, this is a dish the whole family will enjoy.
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 small onion , diced
1 1/2 cups water
3 cups pasta , uncooked
3 cups tomato sauce
1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
fresh basil, to serve
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Cut chicken breasts into bite-size pieces
Heat a large frying pan to medium-high heat.
Cook chicken 7-10 minutes or until cooked through.
Add water; bring to boil.
Add pasta; stir until evenly covered with water.
Cover, and simmer on medium heat 15 minutes or until pasta is tender.
Stir in sauce.
Transfer to a oven safe dish.
Top with cheese.
Bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
