Candied Yams With Marshmallows Recipe

These candied yams with marshmallows are a delicious new way to and will become a family favorite.
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
3 cups large marshmallows
Preheat oven to 425ºF.
Grease a casserole dish.
Peel and cut yams into 2 inch slices, and place in the baking dish.
Sprinkle sugar and spices over top.
Cover this dish with foil, place into the preheated oven and bake for 35 minutes or until soft.
Check by spearing with a fork or paring knife.
When cooked, remove the foil and place marshmallows all over top of potatoes.
Place back into the oven and bake for 5 minutes or until melted and browned.
Watch during this process so you do not burn the marshmallows.
Remove from the oven, let sit for a few minutes prior to serving..
